(2024) | Mentor, Rigging Artist, Production Manager

Champion’s Heart is a student-produced short film about a cheetah who, inspired to run in her youth, later proves her perseverance by competing in and winning a marathon.

Nick returned to the production as both a Rigging Artist and Production Manager, having been invited back by current students to help the project reach its goals. In this mentorship role, he provided technical guidance, ensured workflow efficiency, and supported cross-department collaboration. Through this project, Nick learned how to communicate effectively across multiple departments, offer constructive and actionable advice, and accurately assess timelines for artists with varying levels of experience.
