The SpongeBob Movie: Rehydrated is a fan-made, multimedia remake of the 2004 SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, created in honor of series creator Stephen Hillenburg. The film brought together a global team of over 800 artists, animators, and contributors, featuring guest appearances from industry professionals at studios such as Warner Bros., Blue Sky, and Nickelodeon. This project marked Nick’s first experience leading a large creative team, where he collaborated alongside four other project leads to manage production across multiple mediums and departments. Through this experience, Nick developed the foundations of production management, learning how to organize large-scale creative efforts, coordinate diverse teams, and prepare for future leadership roles in animation production.
